Betty (Howard) Casaday

Mrs. Betty Howard Casaday, 92, passed away on May 4, 2024 at The Madison Assisted Living.  Mrs. Casaday was born July 24, 1931 in Rutledge to Horace and Alma Malcom Howard.  She was married to the late, Clifton Casaday.  Mr. and Mrs. Casaday lived most of their adult lives in Shady Dale.  Mrs. Casaday worked as a book keeper and was a long time member of the Providence Baptist Church before moving to Madison and joining the Madison Presbyterian Church. 

Mrs. Casaday is survived by her siblings, Charlotte Carson (Henry) and John Howard (Anne), as well as several loving nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three brothers, Ray, Hoyt and Jimmy Howard.

A graveside service will be held at 4 PM on the Rutledge City Cemetery on Wednesday, May 8, 2024.
