Obituary
Becky Yarbrough Carey, 76, of Madison, GA passed away peacefully at her home on April 27, 2023, surrounded by her children.
Mrs. Carey was born March 11, 1947 in Athens, GA to the late Jack and Faye Yarbrough.
Becky was an avid reader who loved gardening, traveling and a good glass of Chardonnay. She participated in several community groups over the years and especially enjoyed helping children.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Bob Carey.
Survivors include one daughter, Bonnie Branch (Delston) of Washington, GA; one son, Jason Carey (Beth) of Winterville, GA; one granddaughter, Grace Ann Branch Stripling of Washington, GA and one great granddaughter, Marlee Stripling also of Washington, GA.
Graveside services were held Monday, May 1, 2023 at Buckhead Cemetery, Buckhead, GA.
Memorials can be made to Rheumatology Research Foundation or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
