Ann Cocroft Wynn, 92 of Madison, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2023. A grave side committal service will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 10:00 AM.
Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and devoted friend to many. She was married to Milton E. Wynn, Jr. (Gene) in 1951. They moved to Apalachee in 1952 where Ann began her teaching career in Bostwick and with Gene helping with the old Sturgis/Cocroft farm located between Apalachee and Bostwick. They subsequently moved to Hollywood, FL in 1962 where Ann continued her teaching career. In 1976, Ann and family moved back to the family farm, and returned to teaching in Madison. She and Gene later moved into town where they resided upon retirement. Over her 35 years career, Ann had the pleasure of teaching multiple generations of Morgan County families, who she frequently ran into around town and enjoyed catching up. She had lots of good memories of her students, colleagues and lifelong friends.
Ann is preceded in death by her husband Milton E Wynn, Jr.. Ann is survived by her son Milton E. Wynn, III (Chip) and his wife Cathy Shuknecht Wynn of Hummelstown, PA, Granddaughter, Courtney Wynn Jenks her husband Erik Jenks, Great Granddaughters Eloise Cocroft Jenks and Ruby Delbridge Jenks of Hummelstown, PA, Granddaughter Ashley Wynn Rossello her husband Eric Logan Rossello and Great Grandson Logan Wynn Rossello of Marshalltown, DE.
