Ann (Bone) Lord

Ann Bone Lord, 85 of Madison, died May 10, 2022.  She was the daughter of Raymond Christopher and Annie Ruth Elder Bone of Oconee County.  She was born April 24, 1937.  She went on to marry CP Lord.  They lived in Madison raising four children and operating their auto parts store.   Mrs. Lord is survived by her children, Gail Lord Howard & Arthur, Becky Lord Astin & Mike, Vicki Lord Cisson & Steve and Dave Lord & Lucy.  Grandchildren are Dallas Astin & Lori, Betsy Watson & Jon, Andy Nash & Mandi, Erin Miller & Drew, Brianna Lord & Will Holbert, Cody Lord and Cory Lord.  Also, she is survived by two great grandchildren, Annie Miller and Raelan Watson.  Her surviving siblings are Rev. Bob Bone (Barbara), Melvin Bone (Linda), Charles Bone (Sandra), Alice Moore (Andy), and sisters-in-law, Nancy Bone and Evelyn Bone.  Mrs. Lord was preceded in death by her husband, CP and siblings, Wilbur Bone, Jimmy Bone, Carol Bone and Wonnie Thrasher and Joe Bone.

Mrs. Lord was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She was a Christian lady, always quoting passages from the Bible.  She loved helping people with a smile.  She enjoyed cooking for her family, especially biscuits.  Gathering with relatives was something she cherished.  On Tuesday, her journey was complete as she was reunited with her loved ones and our Lord Jesus Christ.

A graveside service will  be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 11 AM at the Madison City Cemetery.
