I can say it now to all, but Hollis always knew he was my favorite.  My first memory was seeing Uncle Hollis running across an open field from his train which was going north to my train which was headed south from Fort Knox, Kentucky.  I always thought it was a miracle that our trains stopped so baby sister, my mom Glynn, and her baby brother, Uncle Holiis, could stop in the middle of wartime, 1944, and laugh and hug.  He and Dolly continued to be important in my life.

I would have never thought I would miss his funeral, but my Henry is quite ill and I just could not make the trip.  Beyond Blessed to have been Uncle Hollis' neice.

Dear Johnson Family,

I would like to send my condolences. It can be extremely difficult to lose a loved one. That is why I wanted to share the hope found in the bible, the hope of the resurrection. Jesus stated at John 5:28,29 "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will come out."  And at Revelation 21:3,4 it states that there will be a time when "...death will be no more."
These scriptures give us hope for the future as respects to our dead loved ones. Those scriptures have brought comfort to me and I hope it does the same for your family. For more comforting words, please visit JW.org.

With Love,
Tony
