Brandon Patrick McCarthy passed away tragically Wednesday, March 6th 2019 at the age of 26. He will be sadly and sorely missed by friends and family. Brandon will be remembered for his unique sense of humor and his infectious smile. He had a passion for cars and enjoyed playing video games. He loved being outdoors, his favorite places to relax were the back porch or sitting around the fire pit with family. He also had a way of keeping his lean figure even though he was a self-proclaimed foodie. A beloved son and brother whose goofy personality and gentle soul enriched all that knew him. He is survived by his devoted parents, Shane and Tammy Sue McCarthy; brothers, Codey and Dylan McCarthy; sister-in-law, Whitney McCarthy; maternal grandparents, Randy and Janet Koenig; paternal grandparents, Bruce Moody and Connie McCarthy; great grandparents, Jim and Gwen McCallister; aunts and uncles, Shawn and Krista Koenig, Aaron and Christine McCarthy & Tim and Tracey Tyree along with numerous cousins and friends. The family will have a celebration of life service in Tampa, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Epilepsy Foundation at https://donate.epilepsy.com/donate in Brandon’s name.

We are very sorry to hear about your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this tragic time. We did not personally know him but we do know his Aunt and Uncle, Tracee and Tim, and we know that they are great people. May the angels wrap their arms around you all to give you strength to grieve his passing but also give you the courage to celebrate his life later. May God Bless you all and again, we are truly sorry for your loss.

This is really hard. You and your family will need a lot of support. Try to find a grieve support group. It would be super helpful to be in connection with others that have gone through losing a child. I can't even begin to imagine the pain. But I know others that this has happened too, I know they would be happy to help. Sending love and light. Tammy Stanage

I cannot begin to understand what the family must be going through. My deepest condolences to them. The Bible speaks of a time when our loved ones who are asleep in death will be brought back to life here on earth. One instance being at John 5:28,29. I truly hope this can bring a little peace and comfort at this time.
