Frank Stephens, 82 of Madison, died June 18, 2018.  Mr. Stephens was born February 21, 1936 in Madison to Roy and Dessie Parr Stephens. He was married to Bonnie Ballard Stephens.  Mr. Stephens joined the United States Air Force in 1954.  He retired in 1975 as Master Sargent.  Mr. Stephens loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was a devoted husband to his late wife of 58 years, Bonnie Stephens and a proud servant to his country.  Mr. Stephens enjoyed his dogs but was always partial to his beagles.

Frank Stephens is survived by his children, Robert & Teri Stephens, Gail & Sam Slaughter, Stacey & Marty Cook and Denis & Tara Stephens.  His grandchildren are Michele & Jamie Ghann, Chad & Natalie Youngblood, Adam Stephens, Katie Graham, Rachel Slaughter, Dayna & Kaleb Turk, Sean Stovall, Michael Stephens, Alex Stephens and Ryan Stephens.  Mr. Stephens great grandchildren are Westin Youngblood, Camden Youngblood, Adalyn Turk, Tucker Ghann, Chloe Copelan Ghann, Ava Graham and Grayson Turk.  Mr. Stephens leaves siblings, Lelia Folds, Inez Self, Jimmy Stephens, Ruby Lee Stewart and Jane Laseter.  Mr. Stephens was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie and a son, Kenny Stephens as well as siblings, Grace Healey, Frances Mathis, Sara Doster, Gene Stephens and Jack Stephens.

Mr. Stephens family will receive friends on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 5:30 until 8:00PM at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 23 at 11AM in the chapel.  Interment will follow at Faith Memorial Gardens.
