Lamar was my company commander upon arriving as a freshman in 1952. He did a tremendous job providing the proper leadership and guideance to us Freshman. I always enjoyed visiting with him during the times that he returened to campus during alumni weekends. He will be missed by all who knew him.

We did not know Lamar but anyone who was a brother and sister in law to Jack and Carol Oxford had to be a great person. Our deepest sympathy to both Jack and Carol and the entire family in this time of loss.
