William Parks Obituary
Mr. William J. Parks, 78 of Rutledge, died on June 18, 2011. Mr. Parks was born on October 4, 1932 in Cross Plains, TN. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He later married Bessie Prewitt. They lived in Florida for much of their lives. Mr. Parks was retired from the State of Florida where he was a Senior Review Appraiser. Mr. and Mrs. Parks moved to Rutledge in 2000. Since moving to Rutledge, they had attended Rutledge United Methodist Church. Mr. Parks is survived by his wife, Bessie Parks and one son, Larry Parks, also of Rutledge.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday morning at 10 am at A.E. Carter Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at Noon in the chapel. Interment will follow at Madison Memorial Park. A.E. Carter Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
