Steve Collins

Steven Earl Collins, 69 of Gainesville, died July 29, 2019 at Morningside Assisted Living in Gainesville.  Mr. Collins was born February 5, 1950 in Atlanta.  He was the son of the late Troy and Maggie Allen Collins.  Mr. Collins received a master’s degree in education.  He was retired from the Morgan County Schools.  Mr. Collins was a member of the Dewald Masonic Lodge in Rutledge.  Mr. Collins is survived by a brother, Lenard as well as other extended family.

A funeral service was held for Mr. Collins on Wednesday, July 31 at 11AM in the chapel of A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  A private burial service was held later at the Madison City Cemetery.
