Nelda Cottrell

Nelda Juanita Cottrell, 91 of Rutledge, died October 8, 2019.  Mrs. Cottrell was a native of Oklahoma.  She was born on July 5, 1928.  Mrs. Cottrell lived in Alabama and operated her barbeque restaurant. She moved to Morgan County in 2013 to be near her family. She loved fishing and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Cottrell is survived by her sons, Mike Cox & Sue, David Cox, Kenny Gage and Bryan Gage.  Her grandchildren are Christian, Leslie, Alan, Jeffrey, Olivia, Tai, Jason, Lynsey and Taylor.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 10 from 6-8 PM at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2 PM on Friday, October 12.  Interment will follow at the Madison City Cemetery.
