Lamar Stewart

Ralph Lamar Stewart, 78 of Rutledge, died September 20, 2018.  He was born May 4, 1940 in Cornelia to Harvey Lee Stewart and Myrtle Gailey Stewart.  He served in the U.S. Air Force and later worked in the timber industry.  Most recently, Lamar had worked with Morris Wrecker Service.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spent many hours at the Waffle House.

Lamar Stewart is survived by three daughters, Dorothy McCarty, Sondra Stewart and Tammy Hernandez.  He leaves seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and fifteen great-great grandchildren as well as numerous other family.  Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by a son, Clinton Stewart.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 29 at 2PM in the chapel of A.E. Carter Funeral Home.
