Gina Barnette

Mary Virginia “Gina” Barnette, 34 of Rutledge, died January 4, 2019.  She was at home surrounded by her family.  Gina was born on February 5, 1984 in Conyers.  She grew up in Morgan County.  She was a member of Social Circle Baptist Church.  Gina loved animals and worked as Vet Tech.  She enjoyed holidays and time spent with family and friends but she most enjoyed being a Mother to her daughter, Makenzie.  Gina will be remembered for her selflessness, always putting other ahead of herself.

Gina Barnette is survived by her daughter, Makenzie Elizabeth Barton and her Mother, Donna Huff & Mike.  She also leaves a sister, Melissa Brooker & Steven and her grandmother, Betty Conner.  Gina also leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 12 from 1-2PM at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  The memorial service will be held at 2PM in the chapel.

Memorials may be  made to the Gideon’s International, Rutledge Baptist Church or to Social Circle Christian School.
