Douglas Lester King

Mr. Douglas Lester King of Rutledge, died December 7, 2017.  He was retired from the State of Georgia as a park ranger.  He worked at Hard Labor Creek State Park and also at Rock Eagle.  He enjoyed working in the outdoors and especially enjoyed working with the children and couselors at the camps.  He was a member of the Madison Church of God.

Mr. King is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jean King.  He also leaves a brother, Robert Lewis King ans well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 15 from 6-8PM.  The funerla service will be Saturday, December 16 at the Madison Church of God at 1PM.  Interment will follow at the Madison City Cemetery.
