Charles Edward Houseman

Charles Edward Houseman, 76 of Oconee County, died January 3, 2020.  Mr. Houseman was a lifelong resident of Oconee County.  He was born January 5, 1943 to Charles, Sr and Nellie Landrum Houseman.  He was married to the late Fannie Hammond Houseman.  He was retired from a career as a cabinet maker.  Mr. Houseman was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served from 1964 until 1970.

Mr. Houseman is survived by his siblings, Joe Houseman, Gene Houseman, Peggy Barrow and Mary Linda Criswell.  He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie as well as siblings, Bill and Thomas Houseman and Elizabeth Willoughby.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Edwards Chapel Baptist Church in Athens at 4 PM.
