Brenda Kay (Williamson) Rice

Brenda Kay Rice, 68 of Madison, died March 22, 2019.  Brenda was the wife of Bob Rice and a long-time resident of Morgan County.  Brenda was a devout Christian who was an avid reader, loved socializing, gardening, traveling, and telling everyone about her hometown of Madison, serving at times as a tour guide.  She was a true Southern Belle and very proud of her Southern heritage.  She would say how blessed she was to have a loving husband, Bob, beautiful daughter Jennifer and a wonderful family. She was a partner with her husband in their family farm and their publishing business.

Brenda is the daughter of Merle and the late Slim Williamson.  She is survived by her husband Bob Rice, daughter Jennifer Randolph, two brothers, Marty (Cathie) Williamson of Athens, GA, and Cliff (Cindy) Williamson of Nashville, TN. 

The family of Brenda Rice received friends on Monday, March 25, 2019 from 5-7PM at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  The funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 26 at 11 AM in the chapel.  Interment followed at the Madison City Cemetery.
