Billy Gene Owens

Mr. Billy Owens, 79 of Apalachee, died February 16, 2015.  He was a native of Louellen, KY.  He was the son of Delbert and Martha Caudill.  Mr. Owens was married to Maxine Meadows and was retired from Roadway as a truck driver. 

Mr. Owens is survived by his wife, Maxine and children, Billy Gene Owens, Jr. & Martha, Brad Owens, Susan Goodson, Tim Goodson and Belinda Morrison & Don.  He leaves a sister, Wanda Christian and three grandchildren, Wesley Johnson, Jennifer Morgan and Shawn Goodson.  He also leaves four great grandchildren.  Mr. Owen was preceded in death by  a sister, Bernice Stiles and a brother, Harold Owens.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8pm at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 1pm at the Powder Springs Cemetery.
