Beverly Alice (Thomas) Thompson

Beverly Alice Thomas Thompson, 68 of Buckhead, died on March 21, 2012. She was born on November 5, 1943 in Decatur to J.C and Mary Alice Thomas. She was married to Jerry Dean Thompson, Sr. on July 19, 1967. Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker for most of her adult life. She loved her family. She especially enjoyed having her grandchildren and great grandchildren in her home. She also always looked forward to springtime. She liked to work in her flower beds and watch as the colors of spring emerged. Mrs. Thompson also enjoyed travelling.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband, Jerry Thompson, Sr. and their children, Jerry D. Thompson, Jr. & Judy and Keith Thompson & Tiffany. She has five grandchildren, Kala, James, Taylor, Ashlyn and Lauren as well as three great grandchildren, Kaiden, Ella and Peyton. Mrs. Thompson has a brother, Gary Thomas & Betty.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 -8 pm and Saturday from Noon -2 pm at A.E. Carter Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2 pm in the chapel. Interment will follow at the Madison City Cemetery.
