Bessie (Prewitt) Parks

Bessie Prewitt Parks, 84 of Rutledge die April 9, 2017.  Mrs. Parks was born December 26, 1932 in Kentucky to Wyatt and Hettie Summers Parks.  She was married to the late William Parks.  Mrs. Parks was retired from the Harris Corporation in Florida.  Mrs. Parks loved decorating homes and was flipping houses long before it was poplar.  She attended Rutledge United Methodist Church since moving here in 2000.

Mrs. Parks is survived by one son, Larry Parks, also of Rutledge.  She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 11AM at the Madison City Cemetery.
