Obituary

Kathryn Henson Howell, 79 of Madison, died January 1, 2023.  She was born in Greensboro on June 3, 1943 to Wilbur and Louise Henson.  She was married to Bobby Howell for 64 years.  Mrs. Howell was a member of Annie Mary Baptist Church in Monroe.  She was a devoted wife and mother.  She loved flowers and spending time with her grandchildren.

Kathryn Howell is survived by her husband, Bobby and sons,  Keith Howell (Lesia) and Todd Howell (Michelle).  Her grandchildren are Matthew Howell (Suzanna), Linsey Howell, Elizabeth Howell, Abigail Howell and Benjamin Howell.  Great grandchildren are Dylan Howell, Piper and CharlotteHairell.  Mrs. Howell's siblings are Mary Jim Haley, Doris Hardigree, A.M. Henson and Kirk Henson.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1-3 PM at A.E. Carter Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held at 3 PM in the chapel.  Interment will follow at the Madison City Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Annie Mary Baptist Church in Monroe.
